Cooling effect analysis of heat pipe suppressing coal spontaneous combustion

Abstract: Abstract: In order to diffuse the storage energy of the coal pile and suppress the disaster of the coal fire happen. Based on the extraction of coal spontaneous energy effectively with the heat pipe, it was got the rule of coal pile natural cooling and forced cooling by heat pipe inserted coal pile, and coal pile temperature distribution with heat pipe space, Depth and angle distribution. The experimental research result was shown heat pipe can implement effectively to diffuse the storage energy of the coal pile oxygenation, and thus prevent continuously coal fire spread.
